The general manager reports to the president of the board of governors and provides leadership to all department heads. The GM is responsible for developing the club's annual operating and capital budgets and works closely with the president and board of directors as well as a strong committee system in implementing the policies established by the board of directors and bylaws of the club.

Candidate Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the club business as a general manager or clubhouse/assistant manager with a strong food and beverage background. Proven financial and budgeting ability is a prerequisite. The candidate must be very service-oriented, accessible to the membership and capable of leading an experienced management team. The ideal candidate will be a natural team leader and motivator with outstanding managerial and communication skills. The candidate will be active in his or her local and national CMAA organization. The general manager will report directly to the president of the board of governors.

Educational Qualifications
College Degree and CCM designation preferred
