About Us



Founded in 1941, the St. Louis Chapter of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) is one of 50 senior chapters of CMAA nationwide.  The St. Louis Chapter has an active membership of ­­over 68 private club managers representing over forty St. Louis area clubs. 

The Club Managers Association of America is the professional Association for managers of membership clubs.  The objectives of the Association are to promote and advance friendly relations among persons connected with the management of clubs and other associations of similar character; to encourage the education and advancement of its members; and to assist club officers and members, through their managers, to secure the utmost in efficient and successful operations.

Remaining steadfast to its mission, CMAA strives to fulfill the educational and related needs of our members in everything we do and are proud of our long tradition of stellar professional development opportunities. CMAA works with a dynamic assemblage of committed, competent and highly regarded educators in the hospitality and club industry. We have fostered relationships with the foremost industry experts and their respective institutions to ensure that CMAA members benefit from an authentic academic experience.

The St. Louis Chapter of the Club Manager's Association of America, established in 1941, celebrates more than 75 years of excellence in private club management.

Our chapter encompasses some forty St. Louis metro area private clubs in Missouri and additional clubs in Illinois. We are over 68 exceptional ladies and gentleman preserving the elegant traditions of private clubs while maintaining focus on the exhilarating horizon that is our future.
